How do you run your mileages?

I want to run 30-35 miles a week but am confused if my tempo, intervals and fartleg count as my mileages. Do you need to run you mileages on it owns? like running 6-8 miles everyday till you reach 30 miles or your tempo, intervals and fartleg also counts as mileages. if you have to do the mileages on its owns how fast or slow do you need to go?
